Beautiful Location One Bedroom Residential Home

Perfect little holiday home for a few nights while visiting family in the area. Quiet and tidy area of Cramlington with a local shop a few minutes walk away for little bits. Very well priced for a whole property.

The main letdown of this place is that the bed mattress is well passed it's best. Sunk down badly, and springs and wires coming through. We had to sleep heads at the end of the bed to find a smoother part of the bed. A few other bits like no hand soap in the bathroom or washing up liquid in the kitchen. A couple of the plates almost cracked in half, and others were not washed properly. The heating thermostat doesn't seem to control the boiler correctly, so we had to manually run it for a bit a few times to warm the house up a little. Would stay again if the mattress was replaced as the other parts are acceptable for the price paid and the freedom a whole property gives over a hotel.

Ideal location for me, you can park outside, good shopping in Cramlington, short drive to several beaches.

This property needs some TLC. Firstly, there is no lighting outside, there is a street lamp further up the street, but the light is blocked by neighbours hedges. It is exceptionally dark at night, you cannot see driveway, lock or step at front door. Kitchen & upstairs hall window have no blinds, you have no privacy, self adhesive frosted panels would help. Lock on kitchen window does not lock, security compromised. Oven in kitchen is filthy, overwhelming smell of fat & grease. Paintwork upstairs chipped, guests have been hitting paintwork with cases. Bathroom window does not open. Shower screen trim coming away, bathroom floor gets wet. Bedroom carpet marked. Porcelain cat light pull, ears have broken off, so it has sharp edges, I cut 2 fingers on it. I also had an issue with tv, telephone listed is no longer a registered phone number. I had to message Sadie 3 times before she made contact.

Comfortable sofa & bed. Good smart tv.

No fire blanket or extinguishers, unwashed cups in cupboard, no info re emergency vet, hospital, bin day etc, filthy cooker, no toilet roll, empty containers in cupboards , rusty straighteners in bathroom cupboard. No drawers so half our clothes left on the floor. Marked bed sheet. No bedside lamp. Bathroom door doesn’t close. No outside lighting or basic seating. Chips out of paintwork & chunk out of room wall. Filthy dustpan in cupboard. No iron. 2 towels only. Described as beautifully refurbished but must have been a while ago! Very basic & no effort made in my opinion. A welcome pack would be nice with tea & coffee but there was nothing! Not even loo roll !!

We would have liked a non-slip shower mat (old folk like us are less stable than youngsters). A bedside table both sides would be nice.
