The property was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately it was January and cold but the heating hadn’t been put on before we arrived. Also the heating boiler was noisy and close to the bedroom.

Great hosts who were welcoming but left you to your own devices. The shared garden was ample and our boisterous boxer dog loved it. Really good location to access the Yorkshire Moors and nice treats and essentials on arrival. The lounge in particular is a lovely space and it was super quiet - not overlooked by the main house so felt completely seperate and homly.

It could do with a couple of new bits like a larger frying pan and there was a few cobwebs in the bedroom. But for the money it was an absolute bargain in a beautiful area with plenty of dog walks and routes to explore.

Central heating boiler a bit noisy at night

The heating was good, thankfully as we picked the 1st child snap this winter. The rooms are spacious, loved the shower too. Kitchen was well equipped, once we'd looked in all the cupboards! Location is great, nice walk to the village shops, to church, to the cafes and pubs. And parking on the drive was fab.

Shame about not letting the dog in the garden. Kitchen needs a washing up bowl and a decent cafetiere, like the fabulous teapot!

Everything is comfortable and cleaned modern,well looked after.

A really nice cottage that had everything you needed. Set on a nice quiet road that's a short walk from the shops and pubs. Only a 20 minute drive to Saltburn or Middlesbrough. Dog friendly to is a big plus. Would definitely recommend going and going to have a repeat visit.
