Quiet location ,quaint well presented property,ideal location and within 5 minute stroll of ideal traditional old school pub that serves good food.

There was nothing to not like about the property

The cottage is set in a beautiful hamlet on a working farm with livery stables. It was wonderful to see the horses going past and watching the blacksmith at work. Inside the cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Good wi fi and mobile connection. Great pub within walking distance. Pretty sitting out area, although we didn’t get to use it because of the weather. A perfect escape.

the cottage was lovely, close to everything we needed and did our 8 mile walk we had planned from the door no car required. william the owner was lovely he helped susan achieve something on her bucket list, would and will book again.

personnaly i found the sofa uncomfortable but my other half said it was o.k. so everyone is different.

This is a beautiful cottage on a working farm.The cottage is in a fantastic location, perfectly furnished,very comfortable , well equipped and we were also treated with some very welcome extras including wine and fresh flowers. There is also access to public transport (bus service to Dronfield and Chesterfield) just down the lane(nearest stop is Millthorpe).

Unfortunately there was no working WiFi in the cottage when we stayed.

The cottage was clean and felt like home , lovely modern kitchen area and loads of space inside.

Well my hubby as walking issues and uses sticks the living area was great and space to move round inside but outside was a hazard as I looked at the only outside picture and assumed the front door would be on same level but there steps up to the front door on the other side of the cottage and loose stones which looked beautiful but a hazard to anyone with walking issues.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this stunning cottage deserves praise. Beautifully furnished, spacious and lovingly restored. We had a wonderful weekend here. Couldn't recommend it highly enough
