Opera House Beside the Lake

The location is amazing. Literally right next to the Church of the Good Shepherd. The house is spacious. The gardens in the back are beautiful . Convenient location to everything .

They left only 2 bath towels to use for the apparent 2 people booking. I messaged to ask if we could get more towels, and their response was that they left 2 towels for 2 people. That’s fine I guess , but I’m not sure why to begrudge a couple extra towels, especially for how expensive this booking was. So on that front I would say the management style is not accommodating. The place is cold and even with the heaters on , it stays pretty cold. We wore sweaters inside the whole time , even to sleep. Other than these issues , the communication on how to enter the property was done appropriately.

Location is 10/10 with views over the lake. Comfortable beds and nice wood fire with lots of wood I the outside shed. Warm and plenty of heating around the house. Good amount of kitchen materials to make a nice meal.

Had to buy matches and firelighters for the fire. Would have been nice if these were provided. Furnature was a little shaky. Coffee table leg just fell off when lifted. Dining table became wobbly when moved.

The Wood Fire and Veranda views. Upstairs open plan living was excellent.

The rooms downstairs needed better heating ( insulating ). The ceiling fan needed cleaning. House prepartion needs finer tuned eg dishwasher needed emptied,

It was very cold and the heating appliances in the bedrooms didn’t warm them up enough unfortunately The bedroom heed extension l ads so all elec blankets can plug in
