Awesome little spot to enjoy the stars and very close to the village of Lake Takepo.

Great location, peaceful and quiet. Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery. The cooktop works well. Love the full size fridge. We arrived quite late, so self check in very easy and much appreciated!

Wifi is patchy, drops in and out. Shower is too small, we kept bumping into the walls when showering. There was a crack in the frying pan which leaked oil on the stove. No cable TV, only local channels.

Clean, comfortable, full equiped kitchen. Washing machine is a plus.

Hard to use the key on the sliding door. No sky tv.

Quiet. Peaceful. Clean. Location.

Extend the deck and it would be perfect. Get the neighbours opposite (to the right) to respect dark sky policy.

A little bit expensive Pictures are more attractive than reality even if it’s nice

The location of the property really suited us. It was in a quiet, residential area with a view of the mountains. We were close to Cowan’s Hill where the views of the night sky were amazing.

It was a little tight for space ie just some wall hooks for hanging clothes and the carpet was stained in the living area. This was the most we’d paid for accommodation in NZ so we were just a little underwhelmed when compared to the standard of other places.
