instructions to work cooker and microwave should have been provided and the place could have been cleaner, especially the toilets

The modern and cosy feel of the cottage, the surrounding fields and nature/ animals. How peaceful it was. Easy to find. Little stars supplied like tea and coffee sachets. Fully equipped kitchen

There were a few bits lacking in cleanliness. There was a bin in the second room not emptied with a razor and rubbish in it, also there was a used soap left on the sink. The toilets weren’t fully cleaned and there was toothpaste residue left on the sink in the main en-suite. The bath was a little grubby. It wasn't very well hoovered in the entrance and on the rug. The heating was hard to find and work, we emailed for help with this and was told someone would get back to us but they didn’t. There was no WiFi available, it never even came up as a selection. However none of this spoilt our stay we still enjoyed it.

No internet despite it been advertised

When booking their was NO mention that there was compulsory insurance fee. Either pay £25 or pay a deposit and get charged £10 admin fee! This should be included in the up front costs and is just sneaky add-ons after booking. The property was not clean - numerous cobwebs and spiders, it clearly had not been used for a while. The wifi was mostly non-existent. When it did appear on the Sunday, it was so slow it was unusable - quicker to pay for extra data on my phone and tether to my laptop for work calls. The towel rail in main room bathroom did not work - clearly the valves were broken.

location was fine

difficult to find, sign was up driveway, toilet door didn't close very easily, no Wi-Fi even though said it did, DVD player but no DVDs. Stayed for nearly 5 weeks, saw no one, no cleaning or towels were offered.

Good location, quiet

Toilet door had to be lifted, no wifi, stayed for 5 weeks, no offer of cleaning or clean sheets or towels. Completely ignored, they just took money.
