There was a lack of attention to cleanliness.

WIFI was terrible, i tried to work from there and it was just too poor to get a stable connection, for the money WIFI needs to be a lot better

Lovely place to stay

Host and Stay - awful company. Only interested in collecting damage deposit and reminding you to leave on time or you'll be fined. You get no sense if being a welcome guest. Be aware that in damage deposit small print they reserve the right "at their discretion" to take up to £500 from you if they deem you caused damage, although it's advertised as £250. They'll also keep £10 admin fee! Place is poorly maintained, shabby and obviously hadn't had a deep clean in a long while. Other people's food remains still on kitchen surfaces even after the place was 're-ckeaned' If you do go, see if the chip we found is still under the desk upstairs, and I hope you like mice. Wish I'd read reviews more thoroughly before booking. Issues such as unusable, dangerous, scalding shower in en suite had been reported before but not fixed. We complained about our experience and got a laughable partial refund and an email saying they hoped we'd enjoyed the stay... Clearly not!!!

The location is very good and the accommodation spacious and clean.

The fridge didn't work properly and several light bulbs had blown. We contacted host and stay, who manage the property. They promised to get back to us but we never heard anything. The beds were too soft for us.

I thought the property was very well laid out, very quiet and a perfect location for our stay.

It could have been cleaner, the bedding, towels etc were 1st class but the bathrooms weren't the cleanest i have ever stayed in. The kitchen clock didn't work, needs a new battery and the lock on the internal door is a bit faulty.

The property and location were both excellent. It was every bit as good as the photos and the rooms were huge. There was everything you would expect in a kitchen and more. The views of the countryside from the windows was a welcome change from city living.

Scarborough and Hull but that was nothing to do with the property.

We have stayed in one of the other cottages so was hoping this one would be upto the same standards and it could not have been better. clean, spacious and the bedrooms were so comfy.

There is nothing not to like about the property.

Accommodation was brilliant

Outside area was not very inviting seating Area not good,overall the pictures you showed online were not what we saw when we arrived,As it was winter time we did not the outside but I would feel let down if I came in the summer

Location was great get to places around. Having to bathroom's was a bonus.

Beds very soft no back support. Sofas very low down. Cleanliness not very good. Long hairs on bathroom floors, my husband is bald and I have sort hair. Fans in bathroom not cleaned out for very long time. To eat at the table you have to go into a very cold conservatory, not very practical. No outside bin for general waste.
