Host & Stay - Folkton Cottages

Quiet location within easy reach of range of visitor attractions. Property was extremely comfortable with exceptional crockery, kitchen utensils etc. Particularly pleased with having two en-suites thus each room had private facilities.

There was no breakfast as it was self catering. I liked the facilities, bed were really comfortable, facilities were modern and easy to use. There was lots of spaces for my grandkids to run around.

It was so difficult for us to locate the property as we arrived at night. There should be a sign outside the gate entrance to say woodlands as we didn’t see this until we have gone further towards the cottage. It stated firewood something and didn’t seem like an entrance for a property at night. The place was so dirty, the dishwasher was smelling so bad that we had to make sure it was shut all the time. There was cobwebs everywhere, dust all over the bathroom and the hoover I don’t think have been emptied of dirts before. The plates and cups were very dirty so was the carpet in one of the rooms. We had our car covered by bird poos due to the trees and the Wi-Fi was really bad. If the place is clean, honestly it will be an amazing home to relax in.

The location is ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire coast. The property itself is decievingly spacious.

The location was perfect for our needs

House dirty through out dish washer broken and stinking of sewage hot water unavailable had to get someone out dirty dishes and crockery in cupboard duvet cover covered in stains both bathrooms dirty Out side area filthy and broken decking boards decked area rail lose and dangerous overgrown and full of weeds

Quiet and peaceful, space for parking and sky tv. Essentials were provided.

Electric shower had poor pressure and not clear signage for property entrance.

- We liked how peaceful the cottage was - Loved the fact we had a bathroom on each bedroom. - Decor inside is very nice and Modern - Liked the little shampoos and shower gels on arrival.

-The outside area on arrival was scruffy, the bin was over spilling with rubbish, dead pigeon outside front door and just looked run down. - Clothes line outside was filthy and left green marks all over clothes - Advertised has a coffee machine and tumble drier but didnt have either. - Beds were really uncomfortable as could feel all springs so woke with a bad back. - Dishwasher full off smelly yellow liquid and cupboard had food in from previous guests.

Very easy. Was give a code for the key box put that in to Key box and it open. Easy as that.

Nothing. We had a lovely stay overlooking the fields and seeing the baby rabbits run around. It was a lovely clean and well decorated cottage.
