Very spacious and clean

Water temperature is dangerously hot out of the taps. Quite hard to find (especially in the dark)

We stayed here whilst attending the sunshine tour at Hickstead show ground. It was a fantastic location for Hickstead… literally a 4 minute drive ! It was so so perfect and so easy and made our weekend even better !! Lovely clean and spacious lodge. Great communication & welcoming host. I would 110% recommend it and look forward to come back next year !

Excellent base for those exploring Kent and Sussex by car. Completely quiet and clean lodge nicely equipped. The owner, Anna, was very supportive

For this type of accommodation nothing was missing

I booked this stay on behalf of some of our contractors, they thoroughly enjoyed their stay and they would recommend to others. Particular highlights for them was the lodge and the lake. Great communication from Anna the host.

Location utterly perfect for attending hickstead show ground

So first night we were stuck in traffic and were not going to arrive till late in evening and could not get into property as host would not allow checkin after 9pm so we had to pay for another hotel on the way down. I was asked by host by text not to bring anyone else back to accommodation which I agreed to and stated I would not. Upon arrival we were greeted by host who was not entirely welcoming. Did not show us property just told it’s over there, then we were actually shouted at and told not to bring people back to accommodation. I felt this was rude, uncalled for and the aggressive matter was in no way appreciated. That evening we went out for dinner in Brighton and got back to accommodation perhaps 11pm and tried to be quiet getting into property, we found host in garden checking to see how many of us got out the car. This would have been fine but I’m out £150 for a hotel for first night because she couldn’t stay up to let us into property we paid for but would happily stay up to check we had adhered to her no extra people rules. Disappointing for a lovely place to stay ruined by being treated like this.

The owners of the property are so rude, I traveled to more than 20 countries around the world America, different countries in Europe, Different countries in Africa and different countries in Asia and I booked many different hotels and lodges i didn't face any issues same what i faced with this property they mentioned that offer some service like Air conditioner and different appliances but when I arrived to the property there was nothing there so they are cheating the people and in they tried to lock me in and I felt harassed and i told booking customer services about all that happened with me and no one did anything to them. I really really face bad experience with this property. The last thing i want to mention that the owner the lady and her husband both of them they like to laid down they like to control. For example i want to sleep in cold weather so i like to start the air conditioning but they will not allow anyone because they feel cold and they say that no need because we feel cold, thats so rude because everyone has is own life style u cant control how i sleep and how i feel i might feel hot but u feel cold. We are not same my body is different ur body. I didn't meet anyone rude in my life like this owners.
