The Coolins cottage with wood burner

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coolins Cottage, it was perfect for our family. The lovely, modern interior looks brand new and the facilities are excellent. The kitchen has everything you could need and the lounge is very pleasant to sit and eat in. We loved the fact that each bedroom has it's own beautiful modern bathroom with excellent showers. The location is great, Skye is a short drive down the road and we reached Orkney from here in a day easily. We felt it was excellent value for money and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world.

Lovely location, very tidy and had all the amenities that we needed.

It was cold and we couldn’t find extra blankets. We used the covers of the unused beds. The locking of the door was not very secure, it was difficult to use and it would have been good to have some instructions.

Stunning location very quiet.

Accomodation was far from clean windows were filthy which spoilt the view. Lots of detritus in various rooms that clearly had not been hoovered properly

The cottage was lovely. Each room had an en suite, good heating plus wood stove made it very cosy. Good social space and a modern kitchen.

Nothing.

Three bedrooms ,each with bathroom! Fireplace was cozy.. the Thistle inn down the road was amazing. Richard, the owner stayed open to serve us dinner! Samuel was very responsive.

We had no option for fresh coffee. It is a wee bit pricey.
