Reindeer Lake Resort

The location was stunning, the hosts were so friendly and helpful and the cabin was just what we were looking for

A shower in the property would have been nice, but we were aware there was a shower in the main building when we booked

Everything was perfect for our stay! The host picked us up from the bus station since we could not rent a car! It is truly a paradise for Nature lovers!

Generally in every apartment we stayed in Finland the air is very dry

We were able to see the northern lights here! And it was a quiet place in the woods with lots of reindeers. Having a car is the most practical,but if you buy enough food beforehand for your stay you should be good. The host is also very helpful and friendly! She offered to drive us as well!

You have to clean after yourself (it's not an issue though) Kitchen towels etc were only limited and if you have bad luck you get some other guests who are not as clean

Good location, nice and clean house, that is well equipped. Everything is nicely organized.

Beautiful surroundings, nature, very well equiped

location - not close to rovaniemi city and took 1 hour to reach from airport to accommodation. - location is perfect if you are there for northern lights ;) perfect location. - we saw lights at the airbnb from 3am - 6am in the morning. - you do not need to go far to look for reindeer as this property has 4 reindeers :) - frozen lake nearby as well. kitchen - shared kitchen available. ( not one but 2 kitchens are there) - basic amenities (vessels basic ones, cutlery, spoons, and dish washer liquid) available. - do not expect salt sugar coffee powder to be there. you need to get that yourself. sauna - free sauna available at the property and we used it and it was nice. cabin - our cabin had 3 rooms in total with 2 shared kitchen and 2 bathrooms and sauna. - beds were ok. i wouldnt say it was perfect but good for 2 nights. host - was really helpful and nice.

room - too much dry air in bedroom that i fell sick and got dry cough. i am not sure if there is anything host could do. - no cupboard to keep dresses. we kept literally on chair and on bunk bed as we didnt have any storage space. kitchen - kettle was broken.

Our New Year Eve stay with Anne-Mari and her family absolutely wonderful! They were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight of our trip was definitely the reindeer experience—it was truly amazing and made us feel like locals. If you want to experience a real winter fairy tale, with the northern lights and unforgettable moments, I highly recommend this place.
