The Old Laundry at Allt A'Mhuilinn

We spent three nights in this gorgeous, well appointed cottage in a stunning location on the riverbank. It felt very homely and our host, Rachel, was such a beautiful, friendly and welcoming person who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so special to be greeted with home baked scones on arrival and bread, milk, butter and jam. The cottage is in a very quiet and convenient location, only 10 minutes from the Aldi and M&S supermarkets in Fort William and a further 5 minutes into the centre of the town. We appreciated the privacy of the two beautiful bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, at opposite ends of the cottage. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable.

We loved absolutely everything!

Perfect stay for our family with 2 adults and 2 kids! The owner Rachel is so hospitality providing her home made scone. The house is by the river and with a front yard that we enjoyed the stay not just inside but also outside the house. In the house there’s everything we need and so tidy and clean. We stayed for 5 nights and drove to explore the highland and to the Isle of skye! We enjoyed everything here and would recommend with no doubt!

Wir wurden mega höflich persönlich empfangen. Wir fühlten uns gleich zu Hause. Selbstgemachte Scones gab es auch gleich zur Begrüßung. Außerdem war auch alles im Haus, was man braucht. Sogar Butter, Brot, Marmelade und Milch hatte sie schon im Kühlschrank. Mega. Das Haus liegt super schön an einem Fluss. Man hört die Vögel und das Wasser rauschen. Sehr entspannend.

Rachel, die Gastgeberin, war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und so hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit selbstgbackenen Scones begrüßt. Im Kühlschrank waren einige Lebensmittel vorbereitet, die uns das erste Frühstück vereinfachten. Rachel hat sogar unsere Wäsche für uns gewaschen und gebügelt. Großartig!

Das Bett in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer benötigt eine neue Matratze. Sie ist sehr durchgelegen. Die Couch in dem sonst großartig eingerichteten Wohn- und Esszimmer sollte auch erneuert werden.

Das Cottage bietet sehr viel Raum mit voneinander abgeschiedenen Schlaf- und Badezimmern für zwei Parteien. Die sehr freundliche Gastgeberin sorgt für alles Denkbare vor und hat absolut im Blick, was Gäste benötigen. Die Lage ist ruhig und idyllisch..

Uns hat alles dort gefallen.
