The Kestrel Lodge with Hot tub

Spotless. Beautiful decor. Hidden on suite behind the mirrored doors that we thought were wardrobes! Liked everything! Wasn’t too overlooked and the hot tub was relaxing on a cold evening . The lodge was lovely and warm

Clean, lovely location very chilled out and private. Spacious and all the amenities we needed. The staff on site were very welcoming. Late check out is well worth the small fee as we were able to enjoy our final morning! Will be coming again.

The Lodge was presented very well when arriving, also being very easy to find when arriving after check in time with info sent to find our Lodge before arriving. The facilities meant we were able to relax over 4 days, being able to cook our food, enjoy entertainment, have a really good nights kip in the comfortable bed, as well as the really easy to use pre heated hot tub outside!

Everything there that we needed plus more. Very tidy and clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely country park with small park for the kids. Quiet and relaxing

Hot tub cover had damage to it and it made it hard to lift on and off

Loved the hot tub. Which did need a clean as we were staying for a week. Contacted reception and they send someone within a hour or two to clean, empty and refill, a few people have reviewed a dirty lodge ours was fine and clean and even a few items of tea and coffee..dishwasher had a few capsules which we needed due to have young children. The food from JJs was definitely worth the money plenty of food and very tasty. Main bedroom lots of space and en-suite . Smaller room very small not much space between beds, but comfy beds..sofa bed and sofas very uncomfortable but was modern and clean..

One of the blinds didn't work in the kitchen. Poor WiFi signal no TV most nights. The toilet seat in the main bathroom was broken. Stated could get takeaway delivered although my husband had to collect from the restaurant. Check in is dead on 4pm and no sooner meaning everyone arrives at the same time.. Quiet an expensive security deposit of £200 which should be refunded within a week or so.. as we have just returned not sure how this process will end.

The whole experience from getting there to leaving was fabulous. Everything you needed in the lodge and on the site.

Modern decor, exceptionally clean. All essentials available and loved the location on the site as it was on the end of a row so didn’t feel overlooked when in the hot tub

Could not get the heating to work, as it turns out the cleaners had turned it off at the boiler, however after a phonecall to the out of hours line, someone was there within a couple of minutes to sort it out for us :)

Lodge was beautiful, lovely bedding, Nice and fresh. Hot tub was amazing and the WiFi was excellent. Park was lovely and clean, So quiet and beautiful to walk around.

The Lodges are privately owned but the staff although lovely were not aware of various aspects and there was no way to contact the actual owner. A guestbook/ manual would be very helpful with info such as how the heating works, the sky TV pin or advise that this is not available for guest use. Closest take out/ supermarkets and basic info like that.
