The Kestrel Lodge with Hot tub

Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Easy and efficient check in. Lots of fresh towels, bedding, pillows and blankets. Good amount of storage. Hot tub was clean and worked well. Lovely location in the park, very quiet. Great location in general, beautiful surroundings, close to York and pocklington. Great food at JJs restaurant! Felt really cosy (we came the week before Christmas) and loved the electric fire. WiFi and televisions all worked perfectly. Tea and coffee, dish washer tabs, washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet rolls were all provided. Thank you for a lovely weekend :)

Amazing lodge So clean modern and had everything you would want/ need

The site needs more lighting we struggled to find out lodge in the dark as we went in winter was very difficult to see Names on lodges should be lit up plus more lighting on the roads paths

The property is decorated really nicely, has everything you need. I had a baby and used the highchair provided.

We had many issues with the heating which meant for 20 hours we had no warm heating and had to sleep with it being 12 degrees. Far from ideal and really effected our sleep and stay, I also had my baby with us so it wasn’t great. We did call maintenance and unfortunately they weren’t able to fix the issue till the following day.

The lodge was exceptional and very homely and clean. The onsite restaurant JJ's was excellent as well and would highly recommend.

The lodge itself was stunning.

There was work being done right next to the lodge so unfortunately wasn’t the relaxing break we had hoped for. Couldn’t use the hot tub during the day as workmen were there working. I have contacted them directly and heard nothing.

the property was amazing, had everything we could possibly need on our little stay away, the facilities were really clean, beds were really comfy, both showers were spacious, had everything you need for cooking, plastic glasses/cutlery for outside while using the hot tub, the hot tub was amazing really clean and had extra chlorine, me and my partner loved it, had a little issue with the Wi-Fi and the staff/ Maintenance man were very helpful and sorted the problem asap, would highly recommend staying here, second time staying here and would 100% stay again. thank you for having us, had the best birthday break away.
