Hope Cottage, Great Longstone

The location is brilliant. Local pubs and walks right on your doorstep

Overall the place needs a really good clean. The faux leather sofas need wiping down as they are sticky and the place needs a really good dust. The inclusion of a log burner instead of the fake plastic fire would also be great. The bedrooms are an odd configuration with the large master having twin beds.

Unable to stay at property due to stench of stale urine. Cottage is damp and dirty. Sticky worktops in the kitchen. Very unwelcoming. Stained brown on white sofas. Drove straight home again and did not stay!

Location was great in the village, close to pubs for meals, easy for walks onto the edge and down the rail trail

old single beds - double in main bedroom would be better. shower was rather awkward to use - just simple on/off taps would be better

Period property in a quiet village, with good walks and cycle routes. Ideal for a weekends stay

The furniture is a little tired

Lovely location and easy access. Comfitabke beds and a lovely welcome pack of milk etc

Great base for local walks , two pubs in walking distance Comfy bed and lovely to have a pint of milk in the fridge . Would definitely recommend 👌

The stairs were a bit slippy going up in socks ! Definitely take slippers
