"Perfect welcoming and comfortable restful place to stay."

The owner and host was so welcoming and hospitable. Martin has prepared a gluten free dinner and breakfast and welcomed our dog. We arrived from southern Spain on our way to the ferry in Santander. It was peaceful, comfortable and a perfect rest place for our onward journey.

"Village stay with incredible food and wines, a gem."

This place is an absolute gem. Close to the Ruta Del Plata. The host Martin was very helpful communicating with good directions and choices for both the home cooked dinner and breakfast as I had chosen both of these options because this was a stopover on the long drive to the south coast. Parking was right outside the charming old village house that is beautifully decorated with lots of original features including a massive stone cellar with a well and art by a local artist who is also responsible for the stunning murals in the village. Martin cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast right in front of me in the kitchen, matching local organic wines with dinner and fresh fruit with breakfast. What a luxury! My two small dogs were welcomed with treats and directions for a great long country walk, perfect after the long car ride. Very quiet rural location, comfortable bed, quality linens and a great hot shower. Martin is an engaging, thoughtful host and I will be returning.

Nothing this place was amazing, exactly what was needed after a long drive. Its on the route for the Camino De Santiago de Compostela and pet friendly too

"Delightful"

Martin the host couldn’t have done any more. His welcome, the house, the food. Gave me a chance to practice my Spanish just a little. There are only 2 bedrooms and the other room was occupied by a really nice Irish couple (and Molly the dog) so we ended up having breakfast together (though this wasn’t compulsory!) It has a very homely feel and I would stay again for sure
