Location. Very friendly owner. ( Stephanie) Extremely welcoming. Superb welcome for our Labrador. Great breakfast.

Needs a more comfortable bar area, comfy sofas etc Big sofas from reception could be moved into there! ( just a suggestion!) Would like to see it after the refurbishment! Bit dated for the price. Sorry. Advertised as a five star in Booking.com. More like a 3/4 star.

"Really great stay, beautiful hotel"

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, clean, beautiful building, building in great condition considering its age, friendly staff, well kept grounds. And beautiful friendly dog wandering about at breakfast

TV was older model and I couldn't cast from my phone, missing part from shower knob - both minor in the scale of things

The owner and all the staff were first class, nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were ideal, comfortable lounge bar and dining with good menu.
