Staff were accommodating and approachable

It was picturesque,wonderful views, food was outstanding.

There were no coffee pods in the lodge and when requested we were told they were out of stock There was only 1 coat hanger, we had to request more. We were unable to use the safe as previous occupants had left it locked and no-one checked this before we arrived. The staff booked us in for breakfast for the wrong wedding.

The decor, was very nice. Which was in fitting to the history of the castle. With rooms being large and spacious. The staff were all friendly and professional

The bed, seems to loudly creek at every movement. Sadly after reporting this, nothing was done. Tv remote had seen a lot of use, and was hard to use. On arrival the carpet had crumbs through it. It took over 45 mins to get breakfast, with the explanation that there was only one chef

We stayed in one of the lodges, and I have to say we were blown away by everything inside. We absolutely loved it.

Excellent hotel !!

Beautiful location, good sized bed and bathroom. Room spacious with lovely quirky furniture. Waiter at dinner was excellent- meal was delicious.

Initially allocated a room with opaque windows but were reallocated when we asked to move
