Devils Falls at the Luxury Hafod Hotel Aberystwyth

Friendliness of staff and location

Menu cards for the restaurant were ragged and needed replacing however the food was excellent

The hotel is charming, clean & welcoming. Mia, who was on reception, but who we suspect may be a Manager, was SO helpful, friendly and kind. And it is mainly because of her that we will definitely return again next year, despite there being so much of Wales still to explore. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, everywhere smelled so nice, the housemaid was cheery and sweet too (we didn’t catch her name ) - lovely toiletries, plenty of hot water, quality towels & bedding. Just lush.

Food was pricey and just “not all that” (it’s MUCH better at its sister hotel tbh ) but it wouldn’t put us off coming back

The Hotel is promoted as a "luxury hotel"; unfortunately it is far from being luxury, is in fact rather average and considerably over priced.

2nd time to visit the Hafod. A fab place. Made to feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. Friendly staff. Go above and beyond. Beautiful location, the Hafod estate is close by to explore. Highly recommend.

Fab n perfect location. Olde World. Nice Bar n Restaurant but seats too low, should be as high as the benches, could improve on decor. Evening Meal fine. Breakfast good. Staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful.

Chairs too low. Decor could improve, especially in bedroom.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Devils Bridge, freundliches Personal, gutes Abendessen. Die Suite ist sehr geräumig, große Fenster, allerdings zur Straßenseite.

Direkt an der viel befahrenen Straße gelegen, auch LKW-Verkehr. Parken mit Glück direkt an der Straße. Zimmer (Suite) abgewohnt, nicht luxuriös. Der Stoff des Betthauptes und der Spannteppich des Zimmers gehören dringend erneuert. Keine Möglichkeit, Bade- und Handtücher aufzuhängen. Frühstücksservice war überfordert.
