Clean, airy, charming

Everything was a struggle -- staff was very reluctant to serve , no sugarfree available and no supermarket nearby. There are 6 dogs on the property and they will follow you around Mr Savio was extremely rude and felt like he was doing us a favour. Hospitality was not on their minds, it's on the highway and very far from anything nice Food needs to be ordered 24 hrs in advance Even asking for a cookie with coffee was frowned upon Very disappointed with the service

The property is gorgeous and very well kept. I loved every detail of the furniture and decoration. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, helping us to book taxis and giving recommendations for places to eat and things to do.

The entire stay was perfect! The only thing is that the outdoor balcony by the river doesn't exist anymore.

Amrapali is a real oasis of calm. We really did feel able to switch off from the moment we arrived. In fact, even before we did, as the team were so attentive via WhatsApp before we even arrived and throughout the trip. Thank you Sushmita, Savio (apologies if we've spelled your name wrong!) and the rest of the team for always being on hand and always going above and beyond. The food at Amrapali was superb without exception, especially the breakfasts and the Goan specialities. We loved trying everything. The hotel is so peaceful, all revolving round the pool in the middle. The hotel is ideally located, although you're realistically always looking at a taxi to get around, although there is a local beach in walking distance, albeit not masses else. Panjim is only about 15 minutes away though by taxi, and you can get up and down the coast very easily. We booked massages for our arrival too, and we were very glad we did as Angel was a pleasure – not just head and full body massages, but she was a fountain of knowledge too, and gave us some really good insights about the area, the history and things to bear in mind. All in all, we would recommend Amrapali without exception. Thank you again to the team for making our trip to Goa such a memorable one. James & Telma.

Very little. The balcony area of the cafe was shut, unfortunately, owing to some damage, but that was probably the only downside. The mosquitos will get you too if you're not careful, but the hotel fumigates the public areas at 6pm'ish every day so there nothing more they can do about that.

Warm and laidback vibe

Delicious food and very nice and helpful staff. It was a lovely place to come home to after a day of activities in Goa. We were always made to feel so special. The central pool helps to give the place a lovely atmosphere.

Everything was just on point, very kind staff, attentive and helpful, the location was a bit far away from everything but that exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was delicious, not many choose for the dinner but still tasteful.

Nothing to say

We enjoyed the privacy we had at the property. It’s well maintained with lovely separate spaces around like living room with a comfy sofa, table sittings etc

We didn’t like the room facilities. Geyser allows for very short showers and for a family with kids it was extremely uncomfortable. Torn bedsheets and bathrobe indicated poor quality control. Cleaning of the room wasn’t regular and garbage wasn’t taken out.

The lagoon area could be revamped and an outdoor sitting area facing the lagoon would be great.

Loved the elegant simplicity. The staff is very pleasant . Every single detail has been thought through . Loved the property, the garden and the friendly dogs and the rooms are so beautifully decorated. Definitely coming back .

The location. Need a taxi to wherever you’re going but I knew that . At the same time it was nice to be far away from the party beaches of Goa.
