Chettinadu Mansion – An Authentic Heritage Palace

Most of the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous.They ensured our needs were met promptly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.The hotel is well-maintained, with clean facilities and a pleasant ambiance.

The rooms are connected, the noise travels and the mattresses were uncomfortable . Unlike the rest of the staff, the manager did not even offer to help us when we missed pre-booking dinner. Instead, he seemed dismissive and unhelpful.

Was supposed to be exclusive but we found that the guests from their other properties come to this place for breakfast, lunch etc. therefore bf time became crowded when we were there. Food was very ordinary and didnt get the karaikudi experience. Mattress needs refurbishing, there was no floor mat in the toilet leading to bathroom getting wet. No hand shower

The mansion is very atmospheric, very authentic. I loved how dinner was served in the courtyard, definitely great for couples. The staff was wonderful and so was the food.

My room was connected to the next room with a There was a connection door to the next room with a wooden door and noise travels. Not a dealbreaker but maybe not the best choice if you are looking for privacy in the room. Otherwise, a great stay.

Must see place for every Indian who is proud of his heritage and culture.
