The manager Mr Gopakumar was exceptional in ensuring our stay was good. His warmth and care for our comfort and experience was heartening.

Breakfast got cold very quickly and perhaps a little more variety to the breakfast buffet

"Charming, authentic old Chettinad mansion to stay in"

Charming place to stay - authentic and comfortable - though the patio was rather average, just a rooftop really. Ideal place from which to explore the town. Great staff and Chettinad cuisine (ate there both nights as so good). Loved that we could use their bicycles to ride around the countryside.

Swimming pool was off site (5 mins walk) but it was a quiet haven to retreat too. Ayverdic spa seems to have closed.
