The Old School House

Fantastic place. Had amazing features and so closest to town. Lovely rural outlook. Super clean and comfortable. Great host.

Was an absolutely amazing place to stay.

Für unsere Zwecke absolut phantastisch. Ruhig inmitten einer tollen Natur, einer tollen Veranda, riesengroßer Wohnbereich. Netter Empfang mit selbstgebackenen Toastbrot, Butter, Marmelade und Milch.

Die Ausstattung für eine Selbstversorgung könnte mit etwas höherwertigen Utensilien besser sein. Messer labbrig und stumpf und keine Sieb für Salat Waschen vorhanden. Werde ich den Besitzer darüber informieren.

The hosts were very accommodating and it was the first place I’ve stayed where they gave u a whole loaf of home made bread with jam, butter, eggs and real a whole 1 L carton of fresh milk and not those shitty little rip open teeny portions of long life milk. Although I didn’t actual get a chance to have any milk to use in a tea because I didn’t have the time I would have very much appreciated the fresh milk provided by this property. So that was the highlight for me along with the long history of the little building which was special touch. It was an authentic and unique pleasant little stay.

Maybe the main house being so close but apart from that I loved everything else.

If you wish something a little different from a stay, then this is it. Comfortable with all the things one might need for a stay. A well-equipped kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, good shower. The place has character, and the history of the building is worth reading about in the folder on the table. Thanks for laying on a loaf of bread and some eggs!

With high ceilings and a big space, the place is a bit echoey, but that's all part of the charm of the building!
