The Old School House

Quiet, in a lovely garden setting, with appropriate and comfortable furnishings for the character of the school house. We appreciated finding fresh flowers, eggs, milk, and home baked bread upon arrival. Steve is very responsive. We were in a golf tournament, the location was ideal, being 3 minutes away from the course! We loved our stay, highly recommend.

Everything was perfect.

Absolutely perfect stay - great shower, comfy bed, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast and incredibly decorated/restored. We loved the history of the place. The hosts also helped us out after a mishap with our bags at the airport meant us arriving very late! Thank you!

Steve was very welcoming. The house is delightful & is situated in a peaceful rural setting. It is very well appointed. The provision of home made bread & fresh eggs for breakfast was an added bonus.

Loved the original character of the place.

We were not expecting breakfast, but on arrival, everything was provided! Lovely fresh baked bread, eggs, milk, jams etc, truly amazing. Comfort, space, cleanliness, absolute quiet. It was perfect!!!

Nothing - it was all marvellous, and I haven't got space to mention all the great history, photos etc.

We loved the fresh, warm bread, eggs, plunger coffee, good supply of milk, jams etc, cleanliness, comfortable bed, quiet to sleep, heated towel rail, pretty flowers in the vases, the decor and history and the value for money. Host was very helpful and communicated well.

The whole stay was special. The school house is cloaked in history. The house is well presented in a rural tree setting extremely comfortable and relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Steve just amazing guy. Fresh bread and eggs were the best.

A lovely spot with lots of charm. Fresh flowers, bread and eggs. Welcoming host. We loved reading the history of the property too. Very comfortable and warm. My daughter loved smelling all the flowers!
