"Lovely for a short getaway"

It's a lovely characteristic cottage, converted from an old school house, high cellings and full of quirky little details. The view from the bedroom into the lawn and rural landscape was very peaceful. Very comfy and cozy space, heatpumps were very helpful to keep us warm during our stay.

Fantastic stay. So clean and comfortable. You can tell Steve & Sue really take care of the place and truly care about it! They also made us a gorgeous loaf of bread (it was the best bread we've ever eaten!) and provided fresh eggs/milk. Highly recommend this stay!!

Location is very close to family members hence perfect. Breakfast provisions were thoughtful. Decor is charming and I found the bed very comfortable.

It was a lovely building, on the owners property. Nice shower, self contained with kitchen and laundry.

The cable TV wasn’t working so we could only watch a moving on iPad. The cooking facilities were a little tricky with minimal pans, and bendy knives. We were only there the one night! With road works on the way to Waitomo Caves, it took longer to get there than planned and nearly missed our tour.
