Do aconchego da casa!

So very special to stay here in this old stone 1 bedroom home which was tastefully modernized. Well equipped with a nice little kitchen and modern bathroom. Good heaters. A fireplace with the wood. Luisa provided a cake and everything we needed for breakfast and all over again for day 2. Gated parking compound. We ate dinner one day at the pizza place which was good. Loved the scenic winding drive to the Penede church. Amazing stay and beautiful area.

Everything was good.

The house and village were exceptional. Luisa took good care of every detail and left delicious cake and fresh bread for us as well as food to make for breakfast. This is the nicest place I have stayed and I wish I had a month to spend at her casa in the quaint village of Soajo. I would highly recommend this place.

I loved it all.

Very kind and helpful host. Fresh bread and homemade cake every morning. Big fruit bowl on arrival. Traditional stone house with courtyard to park the car. (Streets to get there are very narrow!). Quiet, relaxing location. Hiking trail reachable by foot not far from the house.

We could have wished for a cot to relax in the courtyard. Booking.com could provide a better description to find the place or name a meeting point. The location shown on the map is not correct.

AWESOME! Each day Louisa brought us eggs, cheeses, ham, milk, butter, juice, fresh fruit, home baked breads and coffee cakes. The kitchen had coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, honey and jams.

Nothing. It was perfect!

Accommodation was comfortable and nicely appointed; however, it was a bit difficult to find. Also, there was no communication before arriving on how to get the key upon arrival or what to do with when leaving. The breakfast and fresh baked bread each day were such nice touch.

It was difficult to find, and the lack of communication prior to arrival on how to retrieve the key was a little problematic.

Fridge and kitchen generously stocked with delicious food.

- lovely host - spotlessly clean - free parking - entire house to ourselves - DIY breakfast ingredients supplied daily, including fresh bread and cakes - Great location for exploring national park (with car) - peaceful, pretty and sleepy town

- one side of our bed was very creaky and would wake us up whenever I moved - not a fault with the accomodation, but the town was particularly quiet, and we struggled to find somewhere to eat dinner on a Thursday evening at the end of June.
