Fantastic cottage with a fantastic hostess Luisa..Cake and fresh breadrolls every morning..ham cheese and orange juice in the fridge..and a lovely fireplace which we used on both nights we stayed there..well situated in village of Soajo..one of the best stays weve had in all our travel in Portugal!

Just beautiful traditional house. Large kitchen and living room. Lovely traditional furnishings, and great updated bathrooms. On a tiny little street. You may want to park on the larger street by the cafe, as opposed to driving into this tiny neighborhood, although you can park in the gated driveway. Walking trail was right across the street. Louisa was lovely and provided welcome cakes and provisions for breakfast every day. There is also a Great restaurant in the village. It is the one in the large house with the red tablecloths,

One bedroom was down about 4 steps and the other was a bit farther down. It's a bit damp in the lower bedroom. Also, a bit dark. That said, I would still highly recommend staying there. That is just how these traditional houses are set-up. Great experience!!

Beautiful little compound with 2 units and enclosed parking for 2 small cars (if you're comfortable navigating narrow old village lanes). Unit was spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Shower was great. Our host was lovely, brought us fresh bread and cakes every morning. She kept the fridge stocked with enough meat, cheese, honey, butter, eggs, milk, juice for breakfast and a lunch sandwich. Sitting, dining and kitchen area upstairs along with entrance. Bedroom and bathroom downstairs. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. Thank you Luisa.

If you're tall watch your head on some of the low stone door and window frames.

The breakfast was exceptional with abundant fruit, fresh bread, orange juice, and cheeses. The hostess was wonderful.

The lock on the gate was challenging to open.

What an amazing place!! Luisa was absolutely wonderful and so thoughtful with her daily dropbys! We had such a comfortable stay here, and bonus: rainfall shower. Highly recommend!

Beyond my expectations for a small stone cottage in a remote area. Delightful host. Impeccably clean and care for. Host left a wonderful fruit basket, cake, supplies in the fridge, and brought fresh rolls in the morning to hang on the door.

Could have more outlets, but understandable for this type of house.

The location is perfect for exploring Soajo and the surrounding area. Luisa was very helpful and a great host. The daily delivery of bread, meat and cheese was really appreciated and delicious.

The WiFi didn't reach the bedroom which was a bit disappointing. The apartment felt a little damp, towels and wet clothes never dried.

It was just amazing. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and all round superb hospitality. Delicious breakfast goodies provided. Perfect location. We would highly recommend!
