The peace and quiet was the best part. Seeing the animals as soon as you woke up was a different scene to the busy city.

The wifi kept going off so we were without network for a while

Very peaceful and quiet with zebra and eland walking around outside. Very well equipped cottage. We really enjoyed the stay at Jack’s place.

"Tranquil and beautiful, the perfect place to relax and experience life on a working farm."

Stunning location with uninterrupted views of the typical magic that is the Overberg - lush green fields, sheep in the distance, river crossings and the added bonus of Zebra, Eland and Springboks just off the stoep. Cecilia, the host, is wonderful.

The house was much bigger than expected.Great location to recharge and be away from it all (no network signal).The zebra on the property adds a little charm to the place.

It can get tricky to get to the location in rainy seasons without an off-road vehicle as the road can be muddy,slippery and wet. This is typical of a farm stay though.

The views were exceptional. The house was very clean. Tranquil and beautiful. Loved the zebra that likes to stroll in front of the house
