Jack's Place

I want to express how much we loved Jack's place.. this is not just a place.. it's ""the most ultimate place"" wow wow wow on a farm with wildlife all around.. space, enough for everyone, comfort.. peaceful, everything one could ever imagine for a holiday .. whatever and however you want to spend your time it's entirely up to you.. most of all the hosts.. what incredible awesome people.. can feel their love and care .. we ran into some storm difficulties.. this family was incredible the help given will never be forgotten.. I want to thank this family from the bottom of my heart ♥ and rate them 100 out of 10 .. I was left for weeks with a renewed feeling in my heart ♥ thanku thanku thanku so much to the host family ..

Absolutely zero

This was more than just a farm stay. We loved the homely accommodation, beautiful scenery and the wildlife roaming around the house. The nearby river makes for wonderful fun with the kids. A great place to relax and also plenty to explore.

We enjoyed the simplicity. You have everything you need right here. This seems to be an old farmhouse. Cozy fireplace inside the living room. View from two front facing rooms is beautiful. Dont expect modern finishes. Expect to connect with family in front of a warm fireplace or watch the sunrise with a blanket and a coffee on the stoep Take some board games for the cold winter nights and some outdoor shoes to enjoy a walk around to appreciate the beautiful spaces.

There are mosquitoes on the property. We did pack some bug spray anyway. We went as a group, and we all agreed that the thing we disliked the most was..... packing up and leaving the property and heading back to the city.

Beautiful and tranquil setting. So much space!! A zebra was grazing just outside the cottage :-) Fun canoeing in the Karg River nearby. Very accommodating and friendly host Cecilia. We loved it!

Jack's place really is a lovely farm stay. It's lovely to hear the sheep bleating in the distance and waking up to the game animals on our doorstep. Lovely owners as well.

Excellent facilities

Poor WiFi

The location was great! Beautifel view & perfect of you are travelling throug the garden route. There are Some animals like springbok & zebra on the property & very close is a river where you can go for a lovely swim. Would recommend!

A bit far from stores but overall a great place to relax!
