TV needs to be upgraded to a smart TV, or a option where you can use an hard drive if traveling with kids , so they can be kept occupied during the rainy days...

It had magnificent views

Access was difficult in vehicle. We requested a baby cot, it was in a cupboard which we found eventually & would have expected it to be set up. Gas ran out & was replaced but heater starter must have been faulty as it didn’t work again. We had to request wood for the fire the second day. Heated under blanket didn’t work in the main bedroom

Beautiful cosy cottage with stunning views. We had a very restful few days and sat around the fire pit every night. Loved it.

Stunning views. The cottage was truly amazing, all the creature comforts one could ask for. A perfect get away from city life. A rustic set up that warmed our hearts as much as the firepit and fireplace did 😁

The drive getting to the cottage was on gravel/stone. I would suggest using a ute/bakkie, however, you can access it with a normal vehicle. But absolutely no negative remarks about the cottage itself! It was an amazing stay.

Silo Cottage is situated on THE most beautiful farm I have so far ever seen in Underberg! Every evening, my friends and I loved sitting under the stars around our fire pit! What a great feature! Warm and cosey cottage which well equipped. Absolutely stunning scenery! Lots of lovely easy walks especially for pensioners! It was while my parents were living in Underberg for some15 years that my heart and soul truly found where they really belonged! Having grown up in Umhlanga Rocks, it was always to the Drakensberg that I longed to be! The Drakensberg range of Underberg and especially Hodson's Peaks of Sani Pass are so majestic! As the American landscape photographer, Ansel Adams, once said: "No matter how sophisticated you may be, a large granite mountain cannot be denied - it speaks in silence to the very core of your being"! Enjoyed 'talking' to those lovely friendly polo ponies and Drought Master/Beef Master cattle! Loved the peace and tranquility on your beautiful farm! I cannot wait to visit your farm again!! Absolutely nothing

Absolutely loved the scenery & tranquil setting. The house was spacious & we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor, undercover area.
