I enjoyed my stay at Minshuku Satomachi. The guesthouse location is good: you can take the local bus to the airport or the Nature Museum on the way to Arakawa trail; the bus stop is about 5-7 minutes on foot from the guesthouse. The host is polite and friendly, and all the amenities have been provided. Price/Quality ratio met my expectations. Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay on Yakushima.

Having a drying machine would be great, thought you can use the washing machine in the guesthouse and dry your clothes at a coin laundry in the neighborhood (there are two of them actually: the nearest one is called "Yakushima Refresh room" on Google maps). Otherwise, everything was great!

Nice space with a shared kitchen and bathroom. A bus stop is nearby, so it's convenient to get around the island.
