The hotel has been adapted for those guests with mobility problems to provide access throughout the ground-floor areas. 5 bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one of which has been designed for wheelchair use. If you would like to reserve one of the wheelchair-accessible rooms, please contact the property to confirm its availability. The hotel does not accept American Express. Half-board rates include 2 courses. Steak is excluded. Pets are welcomed strictly upon agreement with the hotel and can only be accommodated in a limited number of pet-friendly Garden rooms. Only dogs can be accommodated as pets at the property. We no longer accept pets in our classic double or twin rooms in the main building. Please call or directly email the property in advance to confirm availability, and only bring your pet when this is confirmed via reply. Please note a fee of GBP 10 per pet per night will be charged. One dog per booking unless agreed with the manager in advance. Check-ins after 22:00 cannot be accommodated. Please note that visitors are not allowed and all residents need to be registered. Please note that roadwork is going on nearby from 07/10/2024 to 08/11/2024. There may be minor disruptions.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. "Good but BEWARE THE PROPERTY HAS NO BALCONIES!!"

Friendly staff. Good food.

The fact that we booked a balcony room. The property HAS NO BALCONY ROOMS!! We have formally complained to the property and booking.com a few weeks ago but neither party seems to be interested in changing this misleading information as it is now 3 weeks since we returned. So BEWARE.

Nice hotel, great staff and great evening meal.

Breakfast was it good at all, cheap sausages, cheap hash browns, no white bread for toast only brown because they had run out!! Bacon not great, all in all a cheap breakfast and didn't enjoy it, shame.

"Bad experience"

The location

Paid extra for balcony room? It was ground floor room which had patio doors onto the area customers were all outside dining!! So either we sat on bed being watched or we shut the curtains?? Our area was cordoned off by planters and didn't even have chairs! We requested to move which they were happy to do. We then got a room above which I'd you opened bathroom door the whole room stunk of sewers!! We have never complained ever and were reluctant to complain again!! But the stench was unbearable!! Hubby went and complained again this time we had the manager in to see what the problem was. It was so bad she gagged as soon as she came in this room. We were then moved again and that room was ok. This was an overnight stay only, meant for our 43rd wedding anniversary. You can imagine how disappointing the stay was. The whole place really needs updating. No apology or any compensation for our spoilt trip away was offered either. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Very poor.
