What wasn't there to like! The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to complete. We had everything we needed in The Old Smithy, and the hosts were fantastic. Sara and Dave are so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning! Bobby, the dog, was the star of the trip for me, such a lovely dog.

Very cosy, warm, peaceful, had all the essentials for a short stay. Hosts were friendly when we met them. Convenient for Conwy and the mountains. Good local pubs and facilities.

Bit of a mix up with up with our arrival date so no key when we got there (they were v apologetic though!), and also probably due to this consumables weren’t restocked (e.g. loo roll, washing up stuff, soap) and hosts didn’t pick up messages about this.

"Pleasant"

Location great if peace & quiet is what you need. Great communication with owners who were very nice and accommodating

Need to have some lights outside the building. The booking.com advert is mislaeding as they forget to tell you that the very nice house they show is NOT where you will be staying. Rather,your accommodation is through the wooden door (on the right) and that you are staying in a converted garage that is really quite small

"Great Christmas Getaway"

We loved everything about it. It was in a great location for hikes and walks, but also to enjoy local towns and easy to find. It was warm, cosy and comfortable. Sara and Dave were lovely and made us feel at home. The Smithy has all the facilities and a wonderfully warm and powerful shower; great after a long hike. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely brilliant location to go off walking. Gwydir Forest is on the doorstep. Lovely little place to stay. Very friendly hosts without being too full on.

If I was to be picky, The bathroom towels could be a bit bigger..
