St. Anna's House

It seemed like a good price for the location near the national park but we never got to stay there because they cancelled on us at 9pm the night of our arrival.

They cancelled on us with lots of weird phone calls and messages thru Whatsapp and multiple phone numbers after telling me verbally that there was a guest who drove over a water pipe but they would have an accommodation for us somehow. I specifically asked if I should still drive down there that night because at 5pm I was just leaving and he said for sure. At 9pm they called and said the alternate room they had for us on that property didn't have a second bed for our 10 yr old. They offered another property but it was late, so I told them I'd make my own accommodations in Fresno. Quite a hassle to make new accommodations that late with a 10 yr old in tow. They were very nice about it and promised but to charge me anything, but still not convenient and it was a super weird story reminiscent of some of the other reviews for this place.

The property was rustic and quaint in all the right ways. Walking into the guest house, I had no idea it would be as clean and comfortable as it was (with AC blasting). So many amenities for a traveling family or group. The guest rooms in the red house were a travelers delight. AC, plenty of towels, mini fridge, shower, comfortable beds, privacy curtains and nice decor. So often you get a motel with no character. This was warm and inviting.

Outdoor patio areas could use some cleaning/maintenance. We were only there briefly so didn't get to enjoy it long term, and I'm sure in the Summer months it's pretty hot to be sitting outside. But the fact they had these outdoor spaces is a bonus and I'd be happy to come again.
