"Charm and comfort all in one place."

Beautiful stone building with very homey feel and terrific location. The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They did everything they could to ensure our comfort and solved every question or problem immediately. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The homemade jam! Yum! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Sortelha is beautiful. At night, you can see the stars. Breakfast was fantastic! The owner makes and sells Abobora jam, which is unique and delicious.

"Perfect host, perfect apartment and perfect village."

Full of character. The house is perfect; very comfortable and beyond our expectations. Mrs Matos was the perfect host; looking after us and even giving us a brief history of the village and castle. The evening was peaceful and a joy to sit outside and hear peace and quiet. Fantastic. The castle, less that 5 minutes walk further up the road is a step into history. High, highly recommended.
