Premetto che la mia scelta è stata consapevole e non mi sono pentita, ma non è un posto per tutti, deve piacere. Si è in campagna e isolati, con tutti i pregi e i difetti che ciò comporta. È giusto sapere che non c’è il bagno in camera e che i due bagni presenti nella casa non sono nuovi.

Fantastic host, welcoming, thoughtful, and caring. The lodge itself is stunning and surrounded by nature, including a 10/10 donkey who likes an ear scratch. Everything was perfect and I could have stayed much longer.

Lovely remote location; ideal for walkers; our small dog was made very welcome; superbly comfy beds; fine linen & towels.

We knew this before booking so not a problem for us but if anyone can’t do stairs it’s not the right place as the 2 shared bathrooms (one with a bath, the other with a shower) are on a different level across the hallway - depending on which of the fabulous bedrooms one is in. It’s an amazing, comfortable, well maintained period home.

Very special place to be, super beautiful with great accommodation! Bring time to enjoy the calm and stay longer than two nights as we did!

Ballyteige Lodge is such a special place. The house is beautiful and the setting/ location is magical too. It's like stepping into the pages of something out of an interior design feature. I just loved it. Sean was a very attentive, friendly, helpful and interesting host. This is not a hotel so don't expect that kind of experience and it reminded me of the Bed and Breakfasts I stayed at in my youth only a million times better. I thought that the breakfasts were very good and the evening meal, shared with other guests, was really enjoyable too. This was a unique experience and I feel honoured to have had the pleasure of staying here and really hope I'll make it back again one day.
