Having stayed at pondersend before,Agnes and David welcomed us as friends.The property is central for most areas of the IOW and the room was clean and cosy, and Agnes's breakfast were amazing

Convenient location with off-street parking. David and Agnes were fantastic hosts and the room was exactly what we needed in a convenient location for us and our events. Great breakfast in the morning and great nights sleep.

"Delightful property, warm, friendly hosts, offering so many extras!"

Breakfast excellent - generous portions and choice. Location central for everything, and easily reached from ferry terminal. Room spacious. Fridge in room with fresh milk, orange juice and cold water, as well as quiet fan, really appreciated. Agnes and David were wonderful hosts.

Bathroom space was restricted, especially using the sink, but we managed, and the shower was excellent.

"It was so good we're already planning our next trip to the Island and Ponders End is top of our list"

Dave and Agnes, run an excellent establishment, there was not a thing we could find fault with. If you're nor a car driver, then the main bus to Newport is only 100 yards away and from Newport you can go round the whole island, and your return stop from Newport is even nearer. The breakfast choices are lovely even if the full English beat me!!

"Superb"

Extremely clean, great location to walk to Newport centre. Breakfast provided by Agnes was perfect (well cooked eggs and quality bloomer for toast). Room size was above average upstairs with nice little touches (biscuits, a Tassimo with a few pods, water and fresh jiuce/milk). The bed was super comfortable.

As stated previously, the ensuite is cramped with limited room to shave over the toilet. The lounge/diner is combined so again limited space to relax there. The kitchen is shared with the residents, but all in all an excellent stopover.
