The home was idealy located and a short drive to shops and resturants. Dave was very helpful and when out of his way to ensure we were well informed and provided directions to points of interest.

Owners friendly and room comfortable enough

Agnes was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The accommodation was very clean with a comfortable bed, and just a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The full english breakfast was very nicely cooked, the sausages were good, and we especially enjoyed the fruit salad afterwards.

The location was brilliant. The breakfast was very good, although the beans and mushrooms often came out a little while after the main breakfast.

The system getting in and out of the property front door leaves a lot to be desired.

Breakfast excellent. Agnes extremely welcoming and pleasant host. Room small but very comfortable. Very good value for money.

Breakfast was good, but not allocated time for cereal and tea before serving, and only 1 slice of toast accompanying.Fruit salad a nice addition, also large carton of fruit juice in fridge in room.Agnes very friendly and coped fairly well on her own.

Nearly impossible to turn shower on and off so only managed 1 shower in 5 mornings.Room allocated uncomfortable (not as pictures shown in advert?). Very cramped space to wash hands etc,had to stand with legs either side of toilet to succeed.All in all, very disappointed.

Opportunity to have a half size breakfast made it perfect for us. Very friendly hosts who filled us in with some local knowledge. Extremely comfy bed, Tassimo coffee, orange juice and milk in the room fridge, everything we needed!

I did not like having to leave our room to go to toilet even though we had a private one of our own
