The Lakes B and B

The breakfast was fantastic, perfect poached eggs and really tasty food. The hosts couldn’t be any more helpful. I would stay again,

Well situated in the centre of Ambleside. Parking was sorted out by the owner of the BnB. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and freshly cooked breakfast. Clare and Eugene were excellent hosts and really helped us out with useful advice.

Eugene and Claire were the perfect hosts. I would return to the B&B at the drop of a hat.

Good central location. Room clean and bed comfortable. netflix in room a bonus. quiet. Nice breakfast with plenty of options. Friendly and accommodating helpful hosts

Parking ok. we had to park in council car park a walk from property and carry luggage. hosts reimbursed car park fee. only minor issue. wouldnt put us off staying again. breakfast on pre order. again this is ok and we do understand why its done. but in ideal world we would prefer to select on the day. room though nicely done was very small and in the eaves. my husband managed to only bang his head the once! we have stayed in many b&bs in last couple of years and in general had better rooms for same price.

Was a great place to stay ,the breakfast was very nice. Eugene and Claire were very good hosts.

Lovely breakfast and Clare made a beautiful cake which she shared with her guests. Both Clare and Eugene were extremely friendly and were keen to make suggestions of things to do and places to see to make our stay as good as possible.
