"A fantastic weekend at The Lakes B&B"

Clare and Eugene are exceptional hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Our room was really spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It was all the little extra touches which really showed they care about their guests and their B&B - a mini fridge in the room, muffins and a good selection for hot drinks, a fantastic breakfast menu with the breakfast tables laid out so you didn't need to ask for anything - sauces, jams etc already available. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

My particular room may have been a little on the small side had their been two of us but was entirely adequate for me on my own.

The room and B&B was really clean and comfortable. The owners Claire and Eugene had thought of everything and very attentive. Not often you get a mini fridge in the room. Really lovely breakfast too! The location is excellent and great value for money. We will be visiting again.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful. We had helpful communication before our arrival regarding restaurants and getting around the area. Breakfast was excellent. One of us is vegan and the food was superb. We were even asked if there were preferred brands or types of vegan products before our arrival. If we could, we would have extended our stay because it was so nice staying at The Lakes. Many thanks!
