The fig

Lovely stay at the Fig. Great location, lovely staff and a really unique internal decor of our room. Would definitely stay again!

Breakfast was the nicest I have ever had in my life, and location was brilliant being so central. All the food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented.

Just little bits and pieces in the bathroom - it was all a bit 'tired' - i.e. toilet roll holder and extraction fan not working properly. Sensor light switch in corridor also only working sporadically.

From the warm and friendly reception to the attentive service at the delicious breakfast, this was a great place for our stay in Rye. The location is superb - at the end of the High Street with a great view over the countryside from the E.F. Benson balcony nearby. The breakfast was great - outstanding mushroom Benedict, really good coffee and orange juice.

Not so keen on a toilet without a separate door in a glass-walled bathroom inside our otherwise lovely garden-view room, but this seems to be becoming more common... Having said that, the glass wall meant you had a fantastic view! So, swings and roundabouts.

We absolutely loved the fig. The decor in the bedrooms/hallway/dining area was stylish. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was amazing!

powdered coffee in room .. a nespresso type machine would work well

Good location and tasty breakfast, room good size, friendly staff

Attention to detail when it came to cleaning and some of the finish on decor was a little tired, could use a refresh. Not an issue for me but the open toilet in the bathroom could be an issue for some people.
