At times could hear sounds from downstairs / next door room but only quietly and did not disturb as at night time

The property was excellently located above the Fig restaurant where the staff and food were superb. The rooms were very comfortable, include a 2 seater sofa and provide plenty of space to relax. The bathroom was large with an excellent shower.

Whilst the rooms were very comfortable and a few minor additions would have made a considerable difference. A Nespresso machine along with a small fridge with fresh milk would have made the rooms far more welcoming.

Excellent breakfast, real benefit of staying above a café/restaurant opposed to a hotel, delicious and generous portions. The Room we stayed in was lovely, clean and fairly well appointed and the location was perfect.

Location is excellent, in the heart of Rye. It has a nice little restaurant and they serve a great breakfast

There were a few things that held me back from giving a high score. Firstly it was very hot and there is no air on or decent fan, just a very small table fan - because of this, i really didn’t sleep. Facilities could have been better, it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast isn’t served till 9, this isn’t helpful when you need to leave early. Received an email laying this out the day before and i did not like the tone of the email at all.
