Room was great...Taittanger suite.

Breakfast did not turn up on first morning but was gladly solved downstairs with full breakfast provided at no charge....and lady was very nice and apologetic. Basic cleaning items need rellacing each day e.g toilet rolls.

The ‘Veuve’ room was very comfortable, recently redecorated to a high standard, good size, nice view over the harbour ( rooms on 2nd floor would be better in terms of view, nice shower room, though for us, the bath in the bedroom was of no value. Good location on the quay side, staff had a positive attitude and tried to be helpful,

This is a premium property charging a very high nightly rate. It is therefore disappointing that aspects of the experience do not match this positioning - breakfast served to the room is poor ( bizarrely a surcharge is made if breakfast is taken in the restaurant ) , there is reasonable and sufficient coffee/tea facilities, but oddly comes with a limited and cheap supply of biscuits , yet it would be so easy to do better, and the room is quite noisy until 11pm when the restaurant below closes - maybe consider a room on the second floor. So we liked the quality feel of the accommodation, but its let down by rather penny pinching details. These would be easy to fix as the basics provide a strong platform for a great experience.

The staff were very helpful and polite, well trained well picked by the manager. The young man waiting tables i think called Euan is to be valued, ive worked in the service industry and the staff at Harrys are all excellent who we spoke with.

Breakfast another five pounds each, wasnt bothered but the wife suggested ut should have been made more clear on the booking.com website. very minor though.
