The Thorold

The staff were super friendly, the breakfast in the morning was definitely worth it! The rooms were nice and new, comfy beds and pillows and it was super quiet. The shower was fantastic too! lovely stay in a quant little town. we went for a lovely walk through the fields, and met lots of lovely neighbour dogs and people who told us nice routes to go.

Taxi's struggled to find the venue - is this a google maps thing? Not sure :)

The bin of wet dog towels at the bottom of the stairs ( not near my room ) had a strong odor so not very welcoming but my room was perfect

A lovely area and property. Close enough to our venue but far enough to be peaceful and restful

The room was lovely and clean, the bed was really comfortable. We attended and helped run a show at the Grantham Meres so was great to be able to relax and get a good nights sleep and recoup

Good value for money. Supper and breakfast was superb. Drinks were great value for money. Staff were very friendly and looked after us really well. Ideal location for a night stop on the Viking way.

The bedroom & ensuite was spacious & very clean. We really enjoyed our evening meal & had a very generous cooked breakfast. The staff were very helpful & courteous. Car park at back of hotel easily accessible. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

There really wasn't anything to complain about.

Really fabulous enormous breakfast. So full didn’t need any lunch.

Great little pub and B&B - a hidden gem. Lovely rooms. Quiet location and great breakfast.

Only second time staying but the manager recognised me. Place is popular. Good to see. As long as there's room for me :)
