Stunning hotel in beautiful village - We stayed 2 nights and travelled with our 11 year old dog and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The hotel is absolutely wonderful with a great vibe and our room was gorgeous, the staff were outstanding, especially Rachel, who went out of her way to deliver an awesome customer experience. We hadn't planned to eat there both nights but enjoyed their food so much we changed our plans, and glad that we did, Rachel's homemade soup was the best I have ever tasted. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your BRILLIANT hospitality.

Staff friendly and helpful, great position just of A1 for overnight stay while travelling, the room was large and very clean. we had evening meal and breakfast and both were very good, would definitely recommend.

The weather

Loved the decor of our room and the location was perfect for us. When we arrived we had a lovely welcome.

Our room felt a bit run down - the bathroom door was broken so we couldn’t close it, the shower door slides open all the time and generally it didn’t feel the most clean, cobwebs and dust in lots of places.

The breakfast was delicious, home-cooked.
