The Thorold

Friendly staff, lovely village environment. Rooms were both excellent, very well appointed and clean. Tastefully decorated.

Nothing really. If I had to be picky I really do not like sliced white bread which was offered at breakfast. Everything else was great.

Sunday lunch was great, our room was very comfortable and Rachel was so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was huge and very tasty.

From booking to checkout and everything I. Between, it was perfect. Welcoming staff, good food and atmosphere, clean well appointed rooms and THE best breakfast!

No hairdyer or fan in the room. Would suggest blackput lined curtains as sunlight streams in the room from 4am in the summer.

Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. The room was modern and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

A bit noisy as it overlooked the beer garden and very hot (no aircon or fan) but it was a heatwave.

This community run pub offers great value, comfortable and welcoming accommodation.

Clean.Good shower.Largecomfy bed. Evening meal was well cooked. We didn’t take breakfast as we considered it wasn’t good vfm.

It was fine, generally. Car park was small and if the Thorold was full of people maybe not enough space.

A little hidden gem. Lovely room with exceptionally comfortable bed. Very friendly, helpful staff.

The room was clean and quite large, in a quiet area, and we slpet well.

Only down side was the lack of Air Condioting.
