Outstanding stay. Host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Room and property in general were stunning. The breakfast and service that went with it wouldn’t have been out of place in a premium hotel. Fantastic.

Wonderful base camp for exploring Northern Ireland. Peaceful, solitude, yet easy to get to Belfast or the Antrim coast. Johnny and Dee were exemplary hosts...it felt like we left as friends. They were very helpful with suggestions for eateries and sightseeing. Delicious breakfasts cooked to order while gazing out to the sea. The nearby village (walking distance) had a wonderful pub where we sometimes ate and experienced two nights of local musicians. Overall, one of the best places we have stayed.

Dee & John were so lovely and welcoming, we felt like we had known them for years and were visiting friends. The location was perfect, not far from sights. The room and house exceeded expectations and was better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed at! Breakfast was delicious and the setting so relaxing. I can’t wait to return for a stay soon ☺️

The warmth and friendship shown, and the ideal location for what I wanted and the advice I got about the area was excellent.

I could not find fault ,I enjoyed myself very much thanks to Johnny and Dee. I hope I can go back again soon. There was nothing I did not like.

We loved the tea and delicious homemade pastries to top up our day when getting back to the B&B, it was a warm welcome. The common room with a sea view and a fireplace is a charming spot. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and savoury served in a room with sea and garden views, very relaxing. Johnny's advices to help plan our day with printed maps was very useful. The room was spacious and cosy. Thanks for having us and the souvenirs !

The warmest of welcomes at this delightful country house. Our hosts were delightful, interesting, friendly, extremely warm natured ., they now feel like friends .Every comfort and that breakfast beat most hotels used as we continued our tour. The Baye hotel breakfast was excellent and measure up to the lovely presentation for our breakfast here at Ballycarne House. Also thank you for allowing us the use of a sitting room to relax with a welcome of your tea and cake. Show the ladies how to bake cakes John.🫢

Nothing just one point would have helped., a small plug in low nightlight in bedroom as I had to negotiate around the bed in darkness. I’m sure this is something you will address as you are clearly ever ready to please. I could have asked but forgot as we went through our days out and about. Thank you for a happy stay
