We had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights in Johnny and Dee’s beautiful guesthouse BallyCairn House. The property was wonderful with a large manicured garden, extensive views across the green fields to the water (on a clear day you could see Mull of Kintyre), and spacious comfortable rooms. These were all good but the highlights for us were the sensational breakfast prepared and served by Johnny and Dee…..and more than anything Johnny and Dee themselves were warm, welcoming, informative, and authentic people whose company you could not fail to enjoy. We had no plans when we arrived but they gave us a curated programme that suited us perfectly including time for an afternoon snooze before going out for dinner.

"Most beautiful place and hosts!"

Jonny and Dee are amazing hosts. Everything from the minute we arrived was perfect. The family room was great size for our family of four. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful each morning, and we enjoyed the evening snacks of homemade rhubarb pie, and brownies and tea!! Jonny also had lots of great ideas of where to go, do. We could not have enjoyed this accommodation more! Every thing was just so wonderful!! I hope to be back. Thank you again.
