Beautiful property, room, bathroom and breakfast

The property was 10mins from Berwick-Upon-Tweed amongst lovely countryside. The room was big with a good sized and comfortable bed. There was also a large bathroom consisting of a bath and a separate shower! The breakfast was excellent with meats from a local butcher and cooked to perfection! Claire and Angus were perfect hosts. So warm and welcoming, with a great Geordie sense of humour. Both had a wealth of knowledge suggesting interesting places to visit and good restaurant recommendations. We will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you Claire and Angus for such a wonderful stay!

Excellent, breakfast tailored to our preferences

Angus and Claire are the best hosts we've encountered, making us feel right at home. Stepping into the Manor is like entering a different world of comfort and style. The location is quiet but close enough to cute villages, lovely ruins and sites. If we're back in the area we will absolutely stay here again or at either of their other locations.

Nothing, everything was lovely.

Angus is such a fantastic owner- chatty, knowledgeable, friendly, cooks great breakfasts with lovely poached eggs. No faults. We mentioned we were lactose intolerant so he went and bought oat milk in time for breakfast, and my partner found a full cooked breakfast too filling after the first day, so he put on fruit and eggs on toast for her instead the next day. House is lovely, well decorated, bed comfortable, shower hot, room warm. Garden is lovely with easy access to walks in the area. Really couldn’t ask for more.

The property is stunning and in a beautiful location. It’s comfortable, clean and spectacularly well maintained. The hosts, Angus and Claire made us very welcome and armed us with lots of local knowledge to enhance our stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break away in a peaceful setting.

The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The fire blazing in the lounge area, just for me, had me feeling warmed and welcomed. The host, Angus, is accommodating and a wealth of local knowledge; he helped me plan a great day of sightseeing as well as making my stay in his B&B perfect. This place deserves its phenomenal rating.

Host was attentive from our arrival, offering us advice on where to get an evening meal that night and after showing us our lovely room, he asked our preferences on breakfast time and food and without question agreed to our preference. Breakfast room was identified and the next morning prompt our breakfast was served - hot full English with additional fruit, cereal, toast etc. Really lovely old furnished property but with up to date bathroom and lovely comfy bed. Heating was on so lovely and warm. An especially nice touch was after our evening meal, our goat has put an ice cold bottle of water and a small bottle of milk in a flask of ice, which was a lovely gesture for a late night and early morning brewm

Nothing to dislike. It is a lovely old property with a lovely host. Would recommend and stay again
