Little Redlands B&B

Anthony and his wife were exceptionally gracious hosts, and meticulous with even the tiniest details, from the china and cutlery to the very generous and deliciously prepared breakfast every morning (the highlight of my day). As an example of their attention to detail, the coffee machine in my room had very specific, easy-to-follow instructions that were clearly not from the manual, but rather thoughtfully worded step-by-step instructions. Everything was 'classic' in terms of interior design, but not overbearingly so – even the garden was beautifully tended and manicured. The house, furniture and soft furnishings had a distinctly well-made, 'old world' quality that's hard to find in newer dwellings. In the room, everything worked reliably, and there were electric outlets in every place you could possibly need them. It's clear that this is a labour of love, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again; I've already recommended it to a few friends who might be travelling to Lincolnshire in 2025.

The location is great if you don't mind not being in the heart of the action, but it's easy enough to get to wherever you need to go.

Anthony and Siobhan were very welcoming and friendly. Our visit took place in December and the guest drawing room was beautifully decorated and it felt very Christmassy. There were also, wintery themed mugs in the room and napkins at breakfast. You could tell they enjoy thinking of the small touches that make a stay feel extra special. It was exactly the kind of place I was looking for when planning a short relaxing stay before the Christmas chaos. It was a quiet and peaceful place, with a comfortable bed and luxurious rooms. I'll definitely be recommending it for anyone looking to visit Lincoln.

We had the most wonderful stay, we stayed in the Turret suite and it was stunning. The room and bathroom exceeded our expectations! Anthony and Siobhan had thought of everything. They were lovely hosts and informative about the area. The location was great, we hopped on the bus a short walk from the B & B which took us straight into Lincoln. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and exceptional quality. Being able to park at the B & B was also a big plus.

Beautiful building, decor in keeping with age of the building and to a high standard. Everything you needed was provided. Owners friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
